CITY GAME: THE SECRETS OF POZNAŃ Activity Overview
The team-building city game in Poznań, “THE SECRETS OF POZNAŃ”, is a popular team-building activity for companies.
Poznań Mysteries is a 3-hour game that turns Poznań’s Old Town into a game board, with individual locations serving as clues that help you crack the code needed to complete the game and win. The participants work together to solve the riddles and search the designated area for the right answers.
1. The main goal for the teams taking part is to complete the game as quickly as possible :)
2. To do this, the team will need to obtain a special CODE that allows them to stop the game clock.
3. To stop the clock, they need to log in to a specially prepared website using the CODE collected during the game.
4. To gather the materials needed to obtain the code, the teams will have to explore the streets of Poznań’s Old Town, searching for answers to the questions provided. The game cards with photos pointing them towards specific locations serve as clues. Once they reach the right location, the answer to the question starts to come within reach of the investigative team.
5. Gathering all the pieces of the puzzle means moving on to the final stage of the decryption process — working out the CODE that allows the team to log in to the website and stop the clock.
6. The winning team is the one that logs in to the dedicated website first. However, right up until the end, the teams won’t know for sure whether someone got there before them — they’ll only find that out during the finale summarising the game.
The game takes place in the area of Poznań’s Old Town, including the Old Market Square with its Renaissance Town Hall and famous billy goats, as well as the colorful historic buildings and Poznań’s Fara church—in the very heart of the city’s historic centre.
