WROCŁAW CODE CITY GAME Activity Overview
Imagine that the manuscript of "Pan Tadeusz"—one of Wrocław’s most precious national treasures—has gone missing. It’s up to you to find the thief, and your smartphone will be an invaluable help on this mission.
Together with your team, you’ll visit around 10 locations in the Old Town where the thief was spotted, solving a series of puzzles along the way. The tasks are varied – sometimes you’ll need to take a photo, sometimes decipher inscriptions on buildings, and you may even have to virtually dress a Wrocław swordsman. But you’re not alone in the search – other teams are hot on your heels, racing to find the same person.
The game is based on a map with QR codes that reveal the details of each task – all you need is a smartphone with internet access. The game uses various types of multimedia, including photos, memes, music and videos, combining the feel of social media with sightseeing. It’s a great alternative to traditional sightseeing and also works perfectly as a team-building activity – even for native Wrocław residents. The game requires teamwork and adds a light-hearted, fun rivalry between the teams, while giving you plenty of opportunities to laugh together and capture the best moments in photos and videos.
There is an additional charge of PLN 50 per team on top of the base price (with 50 people, there are 8 teams of approximately 5–6 people)
The game can be organized in English for an additional fee of PLN 1,000.
