Something we’ve all been waiting for has just arrived in Wrocław. The Market Square is filled with handmade crafts, the smell of mulled wine is wafting through the air, and Christmas songs are playing from the speakers, because... THE CHRISTMAS MARKET is here!
We’re inviting you on an extraordinary journey through the history hidden among the Christmas market stalls. This is more than a classic city tour or a stroll through the market – it’s a journey full of stories, flavours and festive emotions, leading you back to old Wrocław.
Together, we’ll explore the market’s most charming corners, discovering stories that surprise even the locals. You’ll find out why only local products were once available at the market, where the name Kindelmarkt comes from and what Christmas traditions in Wrocław looked like centuries ago.
But this isn’t just about stories – during the tour, you’ll experience the true atmosphere of Christmases past with all your senses. You’ll smell the spices that have been used to make Wrocław’s gingerbread for centuries, taste traditional gingerbread and warming mulled beer, and, thanks to short animations and riddles, become part of the story yourselves.
The tour is available from the end of November until the end of the year (the duration of the Christmas Market).
