TRIP FROM ANOTHER ERA Activity Overview
A unique tour of the most important sights in the Old Town and Cathedral Island, this time with a slightly more humorous twist. The guide will dress up in historical costume and take on the role of a towns woman dabbling in witchcraft who narrowly escaped the stake, or a Wrocław executioner who still remembers the city’s very first executions!
Nothing sparks tourists’ imaginations more than taking an active part in sightseeing—and our colourful stories are just the beginning. We have our own ways of getting everyone involved: Wrocław scents sealed in alchemical potions, mini-performances with the participation of visitors, and even a close encounter with the torture tools of Wrocław’s executioner. We promise you plenty of opportunities to have a bit of fun and take lots of unique photos during the tour.
Wrocław Tour Out of This Era is a guided tour, but much more relaxed and humorous than your typical sightseeing experience. It’s also a great option for a team-building outing for corporate guests. Especially since the route takes you past Wrocław’s top landmarks:
- Market Square with its Town Hall and pillory
- The Hansel and Gretel houses and St Elizabeth’s Church
- The Old Butcher Stalls
- The former city prison

- Ostrów Tumski (without entering the Cathedral)
