Here’s a company party with a PRL vibe. Get in line for your ticket and hop on the iconic 'Ogórek', which will take you on an unforgettable adventure. It’s gonna be a trip back to the days when 'Poland was growing strong, and people lived well'.
During this 3-hour trip, you'll find out if everyone was equal, or if some were 'more equal than others'? During the event, we'll travel through four decades of People's Republic of Poland in a Warsaw 'Ogórek'. Starting from the drabness of the 50s and 60s, through Gierek's era and the propaganda of success, to the absurdities of the crumbling system in the 80s. This intriguing tour is aimed at those who want to discover what the communist era was like in Warsaw and Poland. Anecdotes from big politics, ideas for rebuilding Warsaw after the war, and the absurdities of everyday life for ordinary city residents are just a reach away!
It's a team-building event with a PRL vibe, so our lively guide will immerse you in the Warsaw realities of communism. He'll tell you, among other things, what was Comrade Gomułka's favorite dish, whether there's an underground tunnel connecting the Party House with the Palace of Culture and Science, where people would sneak out for a quick drink, and if the Łazienkowska Route is 'bright, long, and straight'. There'll be no shortage of humorous tidbits and anecdotes from the guide.
At the end of the tour, we recommend a lunch with traditional Polish dishes or a delivery of tasty snacks straight to the Ogórek – individual pricing. Let us know if you're up for it!
Our iconic 'Ogórek' will pick you up from any location and drop you off at a specified address (only within central Warsaw). Traveling outside the center involves an extra charge – priced individually depending on the distance.
