PIEROGI-MAKING WORKSHOP Activity Overview
Learn to make pierogi in Wrocław – a unique experience that combines great fun, team bonding and the chance to discover the secrets of making traditional Polish pierogi.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, participants are welcomed by the host, who briefly presents the programme for the session and talks about the history of pierogi and their unique place in Polish cuisine. Everyone then receives a disposable apron, gloves and a chef’s hat, allowing them to feel like a real chef straight away.
At the workstations, pre-prepared portions of dough and filling, shaped into ready-made balls by our chefs, are waiting. This means participants can get straight to the most important part of the workshop. They roll out the dough themselves, add the right amount of filling and learn how to properly shape the pierogi, creating their characteristic, decorative crimped edge. Throughout the session, experienced chefs are on hand to share practical tips and help participants perfect their technique, so everyone can make their dream pierogi.
Once the shaping is complete, the pierogi are cooked and then served to the participants for a shared tasting. It is the perfect moment to sit together at the table and try the results of your own work.
During the workshop, we provide drinks – water, homemade fruit compote or lemonade, as well as an additional glass of wine or 0.5 l of beer for each participant – your choice.
The entire experience lasts approximately 2–2.5 hours and is a great idea for team-building events or company trips. It is not only an opportunity to learn culinary skills, but above all to spend time together in a unique atmosphere filled with laughter, cooperation and plenty of fun.
We can comfortably accommodate a group of up to 35 people.
We prefer morning bookings from Monday to Thursday – ideally, the workshop should start around 10:00, with 12:00 being the latest possible start time.
