Question 1

What is Rafting as a team-building activity in Krakow and what does this corporate event involve?

Accepted Answer

Rafting in Krakow is a rafting trip on an Olympic whitewater kayaking course, where the water flow exceeds 15 m³ per second — much stronger than on a natural river — while maintaining full safety due to the proximity of the shore and supervision by professional instructors. Success on the course is guaranteed only by the full synchronization of the team and trust in the raft captain, making rafting one of the most natural and engaging forms of building group cohesion.

Question 2

How long does Rafting last as a team-building activity in Krakow?

Accepted Answer

The rafting trip lasts less than an hour on the course, but the total event time — including transport, equipment preparation, briefing with the instructor, and time after the trip — usually amounts to around 2–3 hours. There is a bar on-site where participants can grab a bite and chat after the adventure, naturally extending the integration.

Question 3

Is transport and equipment provided for the corporate group during Rafting?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the package includes round-trip transport within Krakow and complete equipment: mountain rafts, life jackets, helmets, paddles, instructor supervision, as well as access to changing rooms and showers. Participants should bring their own towel and warm clothes to change into after the trip — it’s worth informing the group about this in advance.

Question 4

Is Rafting safe for people with no experience in water sports?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the proximity of the shore (a maximum of a few meters) and constant supervision by instructors from the Krakow Kayak Club, including Olympic athletes, ensure full safety even for those who have never had contact with water sports before. Before the trip, each team undergoes a short briefing during which the instructor discusses safety rules and paddling techniques.

Question 5

Is Rafting suitable for a corporate team with diverse age groups?

Accepted Answer

Rafting engages participants regardless of age — the key role here is cooperation and mutual trust in the raft, not physical strength or sports skills. It’s a format that effectively breaks down formal barriers between employees in different positions, as everyone in the raft gets equally wet and depends on the rest of the team.

Question 6

Is Rafting available year-round as a team-building activity?

Accepted Answer

Rafting on the Olympic kayaking course in Krakow is available in the spring-summer season — optimal conditions for this corporate attraction are usually from April to September. We encourage you to contact our team in advance to confirm the availability of your chosen date, especially on popular weekend dates.

Question 7

Can the number of participants be changed after booking Rafting and until when is this possible?

Accepted Answer

Changing the number of participants is possible — please report any corrections no later than 10 business days before the planned event. If you need to adjust the group composition at another time or have additional questions, we encourage you to contact our team.

Question 8

What description is on the invoice for organizing Rafting as a corporate attraction?

Accepted Answer

The invoice for organizing a corporate attraction usually includes the description: “organization of integration event / corporate event / workshop". If your company requires a different description due to accounting department requirements or internal billing policy, please ask us for details when placing your order.

Question 9

Do you issue a proforma invoice before Rafting?

Accepted Answer

Yes, payment is made based on a proforma invoice. You will receive the final VAT invoice after the event, as the number of participants may change by then — we want the billing to always reflect the actual number of people participating in the Rafting.

Question 10

Is Rafting in Krakow available with English-speaking service for international groups?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the instructors operating the kayaking course in Krakow speak English, confirming the availability of this attraction for companies employing foreign staff or organizing integrations for mixed project groups. We encourage you to inform us about the need for English-speaking service when making a reservation.
