CITY GAME – AT STARY BROWAR Activity Overview
This urban game turns an ordinary tour of Stary Browar in Poznań into a real recruitment process — but for a position you won’t find in any job advertisement. Participants take on the roles of candidates for seats on the board of the former Hugger Brewery, the place we know today as Stary Browar, one of Poznań’s most recognisable landmarks.
- teams of 5–6 people (up to 8 teams at once, meaning a maximum of 50 participants) taking on the roles of management candidates at the former Hugger Brewery,
- a map of Stary Browar with marked locations and assigned QR codes — one internet-connected smartphone per group of around 5 people is needed for the game,
- tasks based on scanning QR codes — solving each one correctly unlocks the password for the next location, so there’s no taking shortcuts,
- plenty of multimedia content with every task: videos, audio recordings, slide shows and links to additional materials,
- interactive challenges — searching for hidden inscriptions, watching videos, browsing photo galleries, taking selfies in hidden places and even drawing,
- direct contact with “Alfons Hugger” via Facebook Messenger, commenting on the teams’ progress in real time,
- team competition — the winning team is the first to reach the finish and complete the final task; if nobody manages it, the winner is the team that got the furthest,
- fun facts about the history and architecture of Stary Browar, presented in a fun, interactive way — no chance of getting bored.
Equipment needed for the game: all you need is one internet-connected smartphone for every group of around 5 people — the game works by scanning QR codes, so there’s no need to install any additional apps.
Language version: the game is also available in English for an additional fee of PLN 590.
