TEAM BUILDING IN PRL STYLE Krakow

For your PRL team-building, we'll pick you up in retro cars from a selected spot in Kraków. We've got Nyskas, Fiat 126ps, and Skoda 120s in our fleet. Then we'll kick off a tour tracing the footsteps of communism in Kraków. At various stops along the route, participants can switch seats in the vehicles so everyone gets the chance to ride in those iconic cars from the past. 

In the tour plan, you'll explore: Central Square and the site where the Lenin statue used to stand. A stroll through the old part of the district where underground shelters still exist and their emergency exits are visible. Next stops include: the gates of the Metallurgical Combine, buildings Z and S of the Administrative Center of the Steelworks, and the famous sign for the Sendzimir Steelworks. We’ll walk through the “Z” Management building with the director's offices, the dispatcher room, conference room, and its dark underground archives, then we’ll navigate through a hundred-meter underground tunnel to reach the “S” Social building housing a theater room, library, and “casino,” where the main attraction is a well-preserved command shelter for the Territorial Air Defense from the late 50s, abandoned in the late 90s. In the workers' canteen called the "casino," a retro snack will be waiting for you, including tartare, jellied trotters, herring, etc. After that, we’ll head over to see the Nowa Huta Cross in the theater estate, a site of residents' protests against its removal in 1960. We'll check out the Ludowy Theater and the IS2 tank by the Armed Struggle Museum in Nowa Huta, as well as the Arka Pana Church – the first church established by locals in Nowa Huta.

We'll wrap up the tour with a visit to a local café styled from the era, where you can order hot drinks or desserts, and watch the propaganda film “Direction: Nowa Huta.” 

After the PRL tour, we’ll drop you off at your chosen location in Kraków.
