CIPHER MUSEUM — SECRETS OF THE PRL Activity Overview
Is it a game? An escape room? Or maybe... a new way to bond at the Museum of Life in the Polish People's Republic?
It's a unique idea for a bonding party – a private evening at the museum, when after closing time the crowd dies down and the exhibition takes on a mysterious vibe. Participants uncover secrets of the past era: mysterious codes, hidden compartments and the unexpected stories of three characters from the PRL days!
Around the museum you'll find scattered fragments of the characters' fates – your task is to decipher the story of one of those characters and piece it together into a coherent tale. To help you, you get a special decoding cube that opens secret compartments and reveals the next stages of the story among the exhibits. Cleverness, sharp eyes and teamwork count – all in a vibe that feels like the best escape rooms.
How the game works:
- Your group starts with a suitcase containing a decoding cube and the first clue.
- The museum hides the stories of three characters – each one leads a different route among the exhibits.
- One cube corresponds to one story, i.e. one route – so there are 3 possible routes to choose from.
- Groups of up to 5 people, so up to 15 players can play simultaneously.
- Each group must decode the codes to five compartments to collect all the fragments of their character's story.
- If more than one group is playing, the winner is the one that first correctly reconstructs their character's full story.
The price shown is for groups of up to 10 people; each additional 5 people costs an extra 950 PLN.
The museum game is available after opening hours — from 6:00 PM.
We can organise refreshments (e.g. coffee and wuzetka — a Polish chocolate sponge cake, sandwiches with smalec/pork lard, and orangeade) for an extra fee — give us a shout if you're interested.
