PRL EVENING Activity Overview
Integration in Warsaw straight from the PRL era. We're heading out for a cruise through atmospheric bars from the PRL times, enjoying drinks and munching on snacks from the days of the "One True PZPR".
To kick off the trip, we're taking a Nyska to Constitution Square, where the participants will have the task of finding a worker resembling Lech Wałęsa. It's about a bas-relief located on one of the building façades. There, you'll find a clue on where to go next. Then we're heading to the Ministry of Agriculture, where a quiz about the system awaits you. For correct answers, you'll get meat ration cards, which we'll soon be able to exchange for a bottle of vodka. Next, we're heading to the Palace of Culture to deliver a speech text from the party's first secretary at the podium. Along the way, we'll listen to a song about Nowa Huta, which everyone must learn to sing together as a hit. From there, you'll set off to Praga to visit the Museum of the People's Republic of Poland. Here, we'll transport you to a small apartment furnished in the style of the era, a state official's office, a shop, a bar, and a street from those times. We'll see how people lived and invite participants for a small tasting, typical of that era. At the end of the trip, we'll drop you off at a specified location (in the city center).
* We take max. 7 people on board the van, and for larger groups, we provide more vans, with the price multiplied by the number of vehicles.
