PRL EVENING Activity Overview
Integration in Warsaw straight from the PRL era. We're heading out for a cruise through atmospheric bars from the PRL times, enjoying drinks and munching on snacks from the days of the "One True PZPR".
To kick off the trip, we’re heading to Plac Konstytucji via Nyska, where the guys will need to find a worker who looks like Lech Wałęsa. It’s about a relief sculpture on one of the building’s façades. That’s where you’ll find a hint for where to head next. After that, we’ll roll over to the Ministry of Agriculture for a knowledge quiz about the system. For correct answers, you’ll get meat vouchers that we can soon swap for a bottle of vodka. Next up, we’re off to the Palace of Culture to deliver the speech of the first secretary of the party from the podium. On the way, we’ll blast a song about Nowa Huta that everyone needs to learn, so we can all sing along together later. From there, you’ll head to Praga to visit the PRL Museum. Here, we’ll step into a small apartment decked out in period style, a government clerk’s office, a shop, a bar, and a street from back in the day. We’ll see how people lived and got by and we’ll treat you all to a little snack typical of that era. To wrap up the trip, we’ll drop you off at a designated spot (in the city center).
* We can take max. 7 people in one van, and for larger groups, we’ll bring more vans accordingly, and you’ll just need to multiply the price by the number of vehicles.
