Question 1

What is Wine Tasting as a team-building attraction in Trójmiasto and what does it involve?

Accepted Answer

Wine Tasting is an interactive wine workshop led by an experienced sommelier, where participants try 5 carefully selected wines from different regions of the world, learn about the history of winemaking, wine and food pairing rules, and the secrets of proper tasting. The meeting is far from an academic lecture — the sommelier engages the group in interaction, asks questions, makes them laugh, and provokes discussion, and each participant receives printed informational materials with descriptions of the tasted wines at the end. It's the perfect combination of knowledge, fun, and tasting all in one — even those who never thought about wine end the workshop with a new perspective on this drink.

Question 2

How many wines are tasted during the workshop and what types are they?

Accepted Answer

Each participant samples 5 types of wine served in Schott-Zwiesel glasses — elegant glasses made from patented crystal mass, which the sommelier presents as a separate element of the workshop. The selection of wines is determined by the sommelier, taking into account current availability, season, and the group's profile — usually including a range of red, white, and rosé wines from various regions (France, Italy, New World), giving participants a comparative overview of the diversity of wine styles worldwide. If your group has preferences (e.g., only red or only natural wines), it's worth mentioning this when booking.

Question 3

Where do the tasting workshops take place — in a specific location or can they be organized anywhere?

Accepted Answer

The workshops can take place at any location designated by the group — the sommelier has all the necessary accessories and will arrive with a complete tasting set to an apartment, restaurant, company office, or another event space. The default location is Sopot or Gdańsk — the specific address is agreed upon with the coordinator when booking. The mobile format is particularly popular among groups combining tasting with a dinner in a private apartment or with other workshops (e.g., Painting with Wine or a Beach Picnic).

Question 4

What exactly is included in the Wine Tasting package price?

Accepted Answer

The package price includes: a 2-hour tasting workshop led by a sommelier, tasting of 5 wines in Schott-Zwiesel glasses, presentation of winemaking history and wine-food pairing rules, a competition with prizes (practical or theoretical), printed informational materials with descriptions of the tasted wines for each participant, and all necessary tasting equipment. The sommelier's travel to the location chosen by the group in Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Sopot is included in the price — without additional transportation fees.

Question 5

Is Wine Tasting just about learning about wine, or is there also an element of fun and competition?

Accepted Answer

Definitely both — the workshops conclude with a competition with prizes (practical or theoretical format), which summarizes the knowledge gained during the tasting and sparks competition among participants. The sommelier focuses on interaction and engagement from the first minute — sharing surprising fun facts, debunking myths about wine, and encouraging participants to speak up. The atmosphere is far from a stiff oenology lesson — it's primarily a shared fun experience over a glass of good wine, where we also learn something new along the way.

Question 6

Is Wine Tasting available all year round?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Wine Tasting is available all year round, regardless of the weather, as it takes place indoors. It is one of the few formats in the Trójmiasto offer that works perfectly both in summer (as an evening relaxation point after outdoor activities) and in winter or autumn when weather conditions exclude outdoor activities. Wine tasting in the autumn-winter months has a special atmosphere — a warm interior, a glass of red wine, and a conversation with a sommelier is the perfect end to a corporate day.

Question 7

How long does a Wine Tasting workshop last and what is the minimum number of participants?

Accepted Answer

The workshop lasts about 2 hours — including theoretical introduction, 5 tastings with sommelier commentary, and a final competition with prizes. The minimum number of participants is 8 people. Two hours are enough to conduct a full workshop without rushing — yet not extending the event if tasting is one of several blocks in the day's program.

Question 8

Is Wine Tasting available in English for foreign groups?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the sommelier and event coordinator handle the group in English. Wine tasting is a format well recognized by groups from the UK, France, or Germany — and conducted by a Polish sommelier with a different perspective on European and New World wine regions is an interesting experience even for those who consider themselves connoisseurs. Printed materials for participants are prepared bilingually at the group's request.

Question 9

Can the number of participants be changed after booking a Wine Tasting and until when?

Accepted Answer

Changes in the number of participants are possible — please report any adjustments no later than 10 working days before the planned event, so the sommelier can appropriately plan the number of glasses, wine bottles, and printed informational materials. It's also a good time to confirm the workshop location — especially if the event venue or hotel where the group is staying has changed.

Question 10

What description appears on the invoice for Wine Tasting?

Accepted Answer

The invoice for organizing a corporate attraction usually includes the description: “organization of an integration / corporate event / workshop". If your company requires a different description due to accounting department requirements or internal billing policies, please ask us for details when placing the order.

Question 11

Do you issue a proforma invoice before the Wine Tasting?

Accepted Answer

Yes, payment is made based on a proforma invoice. The final VAT invoice is issued after the event, as the number of participants may change by then — we want the settlement to always reflect the actual event execution.
